Watch out chocolate chip cookies!! Monster cookies are coming in! And they're coming in with a deliciousness that will set your taste buds on fire!! Not the hot, spicey, burning kind of fire. No, no, the kind of fire that cannot be put out. It just keeps you coming back for more!

That was lame. OK, let's try again..

Monster cookies are the new little black dress!! Except they're not. Wait, wait...

Ladies and gentleman, get a spoon and grab a glass of milk, because these cookies are so darn good you're going to finish them before they even make it to the oven!!

Yes!! Now, that's better!!

These cookies are oh-my-stop-right-where-you-are-and-do-a-little-dance good!!! They're eat-the-whole-plate-on-a-saturday good!! They're going to blow your mind and make your taste buds happier than a bag of smiles!!

I took the traditional Monster Cookie recipe and nola-fied it, of course!! Not surprisingly, this recipe is EVEN better than the original! If you've never tried Monster Cookies, you're in for a treat! Sit back, relax, and enjoy drooling over this recipe. You're going to need your rest because as soon as you're finished, I'm sure you'll be racing to the kitchen cupboards on a race to find every ingredient you need. If you're out of granola, no worries. We sell it right here! :)

Granola Monster Cookies

1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
3/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
2 eggs
1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
2 1/4 cup rolled oats
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1/4 cup Nothin' but Nola Goin' Nuts granola
1/4 cup Nothin' but Nola An Apple a Day granola

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a cookie sheet with coconut oil (you'll need a very small amount).

Combine the sugars, peanut butter, and coconut oil. An electric mixer works best!

Add in the eggs and vanilla.

Add the oats and baking soda and mix well.

Last, but not least, add in your chocolate chips (hooray!) and your granola (nom! nom! nom!).

Dump extra large spoonfuls (these are monster cookies, people!), about 1/3-1/2 cup, onto the oiled cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes.

The cookies are done when they're slightly golden brown on the edges.

Now, pour yourself a cup of almond milk (or your milk of choice), grab a cookie (or four!), snuggle up on the couch, and eat yo cookies!!
